TeamNavigator challenges teams to coordinate dozens of small actions into one shared outcome. Early efforts are often messy and uncoordinated, but with clear communication, real-time adjustment, and shared focus, the group learns how to move as one.

Participants control a single upright pen using ropes attached to a plastic disk resting on a large sheet of paper. As they pull, the pen moves, leaving a trail of ink behind.

At first, every participant’s movements pull in different directions, and early attempts at drawing are chaotic. Gradually, through clearer communication and real-time adjustments, the group learns to move the pen as if they were one.

Facilitators can customize the challenge: groups can follow a pre-designed maze, trace a logo, write a word, or uncover hidden topics embedded in the paper. More complex goals demand greater planning, communication, and adaptation.

TeamNavigator offers a vivid experience of how even small, uncoordinated actions create confusion—and how synchronization, communication, and trust can transform a scattered group into a focused team.
