Getting to the Heart of It

$167.00

ScenarioCards use vivid, playful illustrations to help teams name what’s really happening—safely and without blame. They spark insight, surface hidden dynamics, and make complex topics easier to talk about by turning the unsayable into something everyone can simply point to.

ScenarioCards come in two editions, each with 50 beautifully illustrated picture cards created in collaboration with international trainers and artists. Their metaphors make complex dynamics visible, lower defensiveness, and open the door to honest, meaningful conversation.

With ScenarioCards, teams can:

  • Name dynamics they’ve sensed but never articulated
  • Surface invisible norms around power, belonging, and communication
  • Understand culture and behavior without shame or judgment
  • Practice brave conversations with less tension and more clarity
  • Lower emotional guardrails without lowering the depth
  • See familiar patterns in new ways (“Wait… is this us?”)

By shifting focus to a shared image, participants gather their thoughts, feel less exposed, and express themselves with greater ease and clarity.

Set 1 (Team & Organization)
Explore everyday team dynamics—leadership, communication, decision-making, conflict, alignment, resources, change, and vision. These cards help groups see how they actually work together and what needs to shift.

Set 2 (Stereotypes & Diversity)
Navigate sensitive topics like inclusion, bias, cultural assumptions, belonging, identity, and intercultural communication. Humorous, exaggerated moments make it safer to explore difficult truths without shame or judgment.

Facilitators use ScenarioCards to quickly spark insight, invite multiple perspectives, and help participants connect personal experiences to broader organizational or cultural themes. The laughter often comes first—then the meaningful insight.
