The Metalog Method

Our method is designed to help you get the most out of Metalog tools and your learner group. It consists of three main steps: Staging, Performing and Assigning Meaning. Prior to Staging, you should be very familiar with your learner group, the outcomes you hope to achieve and the greater context for your work.

The most successful Metalog facilitators are able to apply a “loose grip.” They are thoughtful in the design and facilitation of the activity so they can achieve predetermined outcomes yet remain open to allow the experience to unfold naturally – in ways they might not expect – that are also healthy and productive for the group.
